Lash Lift

Lash lifting opens the eyes, gives the appearance of longer, thicker and darker lashes and offers much less maintenance than lash extensions. A lash lift takes your natural lashes and lifts, curls and separates them, permanently setting them into a position that maximises length and definition.

Please note that "permanent" is a relative term. The average life span of the natural eyelash is anywhere from 45 to 90 days , depending on the individual. The result of a lash lift will last for the duration of the natural lash cycle. A lash that is applied mid lash cycle may require re-lifting sooner, so we recommend returning after six weeks for another lash lift.

Before Your Lash Lift

Please have all eye make-up removed before your appointment. Please arrive early if you need to use our amenities to remove eye make-up.

After Your Lash Lift

For 48 hours after your appointment:

• Do not use oil-based or strong makeup removers for 48 hours after a lash lift. We recommend using Belma Remove.
• Avoid using an eye mask to sleep.
• Don't get lashes wet and avoid saunas, spas, swimming and steam.
• Do not sleep on your face or on your side where your lashes may rub against the pillow - this can push the lashes into an undesirable direction.

Can you wear mascara after your Lash Lift?

Absolutely! You can choose to wear Elleevate Mascara immediately after your lash lift (and remove in the evening using Belma Remove makeup remover) or wait 24 hours before you can apply regular mascara. Remember that mascaras need to be replaced every 3 months to avoid bacteria growth and infections in your lashes/eyes.
